Concentration 11

8.5 x 11 in.
Digital media

This piece was done differently than the other ones. I found a circular pattern on a piece of plastic that came from some kind of packaging. Instead of throwing it away, I kept it thinking that I could possibly use it for a design. I scanned multiple sections of the design and then layered some of them on top of each other. I erased some of the parts that I found that were excessive and kept the rest. Since the pattern was found on plastic, there is some distortion on the shapes, but I decided to keep it that way. I filled in the shapes with color and a variety of gradients and this is what I ended up with.

Concentration 10

Size to be determined
Digital media

I took a break from color and opted for a black and white design. I incorporated 3-D shapes into this design, and I still maintained the radial format.

Concentration 9

8.5 x 11 in.
Digital Media

I wanted to change the kinds of shapes that I was using, so I went for a star design. This one was meant to be a sort of compliment to the previous.

Concentration 8

8.5 x 11 in.
Digital Media

This one was done by creating two designs and overlapping them.

Concentration 7

8.5 x 11 in.
Digital Media

I decided to incorporate gradients and to use solid shapes in this one. I still kept the radial format.

Concentration 6

8.5 x 11 in.
Digital Media

This is my first experimentation with digital media. I utilized an online program to accomplish this kind of design. I was aiming for a radial design and this is what I need up with. Again, the use of bright colors is seen. Maybe I went a bit over board with it....

Also, Concentration 5 still needs some modifications before it can be uploaded. I'll do that later.
