This artwork is based on Rebecca Ladds, and artist who combined anatomy with objects in nature. In this artwork, I decided to replace one side of the rib cage with a beehive. I thought that the shape sort of resembled a lung, so I did that. The idea of making the pelvis part of the lion's head came from psychology. There is this blot ink test that is not meant to resemble anything, but it can mean different things to different people according to their personality. There is a slide in particular that resembled an elephant's head, a pelvis, and/or a lion's head.
